Hebrews 12:2 urges us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” By looking to Him, we are reminded that our suffering is temporary and that God’s purposes are eternal. The cross assures us that God understands our pain and is working to bring about our ultimate victory.
